Competition at West Heath Primary

Competition is encouraged at West Heath Primary School.  We expect our pupils to compete to the best of their ability in PE lessons and in extra curricular activities.  Pupils have the opportunity in their lessons and in after school clubs to demonstrate they have the skills and the values required to represent West Heath Primary School.

Pupils across the school, are given the chance to compete in a range of sports throughout the school year.  West Heath Primary School actively engages in the School Games programme. The school works in partnership with;  South Birmingham Sports District; Kings Norton Football programme;  Kings Norton Rhinos;  Lawn Tennis Association; Colmers Sports Partnership. The school hosts SEND events in a range of PARA activities.

Pupils at West Heath Primary School strive to represent the school in our sports teams and recognise that winning, although encouraged, is not the main aspect of taking part but that the desire to win and their effort is important. Sporting success is celebrated!
