Wicked War Wages at West Heath
On the spot report:
A vicious encounter occurred at West Heath Primary School yesterday as Roman armies from Class 9 and Class 10 clashed on the top playground. War cries were heard as far out as Northfield Poundland as the blistering encounter hit its bloody zenith. After a staggering 14 minutes of battle, the victor finally arose from the depths of despair, a swaggering class 10 left the battlefield, leaving behind a drained, despondent and downhearted class 9. However, these emotions were not warranted as although defeated, Class 9 covered themselves in eternal glory due to their heroic stand. Eye witnesses are not to be accused of hyperbole after claiming the actions of Class 9 were reminiscent of the British stand at Rourke’s Drift and the infamous barricades of the Alamo.
A year 4 named Ayman said, "It was a very vicious battle!" While Amelia Duncombe Yeoman, a commander of the Roman army in class 10, stated, "It was terrifying and something I never want to witness again."
