At West Heath Primary School, we passionately believe that our children have the right to a broad and balanced curriculum. The curriculum of the school underpins all the learning that takes place and an engaging and inspirational curriculum can foster curiosity and a passion for learning so that children may develop into life-long learners.
Each year the school holds a transition week where our pupils experience the expectations for their next year ahead. This provides an excellent opportunity for our pupils to find out more about the curriculum. There is also class assemblies based on the learning experienced in the classroom.
We follow the National Curriculum Programmes of study to ensure our pupils are working at accurate end of year expectations.
